The QuickBooks Certification program was developed by a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm to educate and certify the firm’s QuickBooks user clients. Over the past 10 years, the QuickBooks Certification program has been used by hundreds of small business and nonprofit organizations to educate and certify QuickBooks user personnel.

Requirements
The QuickBooks Certification program includes an educational component comprised of the Learning QuickBooks self-study guide. The Guide is for QuickBooks users who want to learn or enhance their QuickBooks knowledge and skills and serve as the educational foundation for our QuickBooks Certification exam. The Guide can also be used as educational tool for QuickBooks personnel.

To earn the QuickBooks Certification, individuals must complete the following steps:

  1. Study the Learning QuickBooks Guide for the QuickBooks Certification exam below.
  2. Upon completion of the Guide, request access to our online exam.
  3. Successfully complete and pass the exam.

Individuals who meet these requirements receive our QuickBooks Certificate.

QuickBooks Certification Exams
UBA's QuickBooks Certification exam is used to test the QuickBooks user’s QuickBooks competency. The exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions. As you complete the Guide you may request access to the exam via email or telephone. You have 24 hours to take and submit the exam for grading and the exam is "open-book". You must receive an 80% in order to pass the exam. Test results are made available to you within 24 hours. If necessary, you must wait one full week to retake the exam. However, there is no additional fee to retake the exam. To request the exam, please email exams@utahba.org or call 866-444-9989.
